Drew was raised in southern California, and grew up in a very musical family. The daughter of a Grammy award winning artist, she has an underlying love and passion for everything entertainment.

Over time, she has cultivated that passion into her professional career by putting a dynamic touch on the news she composes.

That includes breaking the traditional news format to introduce the very first trending news segment at the ABC affiliate servicing Savannah, Georgia and South Carolina's Lowcountry region.
